An interdisciplinary team leads the project, which has been developed with the State Coastal Conservancy, universities, agencies, and local consultants. The restoration design questions addressed have arisen from earlier recommendations in the San Francisco Bay Subtidal Habitat Goals Project. The Living Shorelines Project builds upon successful methods and plans; upon knowledge of constraints, timing, and design issues from previous efforts; and upon recommended regional initiatives and goals. We are working with a range of local, state and national partners.
