Central California

We conducted intensive field monitoring of oysters and environmental factors in San Francisco Bay and Elkhorn Slough, and worked closely with oyster restoration end-users in these estuaries.  We carried out site evaluations at these two estuaries, scoring sites for the restoration potential and conservation value.  The following documents relate to this project:

West Coast

We evaluated oyster populations and environmental stressors at bays along the West Coast, from southern California to British Columbia.  We conducted additional site evaluations at San Diego and Newport bays in southern California, and Coos Bay and South Slough in southern Oregon.  The following documents relate to this project:
